Consultancy
I am not running an insured practice any more but I offer
occasional consultancy sessions for students, practitioners or their
patients whenever they are needed. I do not perform miracles; I just
listen carefully and try to find solutions when there appear to be none
left. I do not sit in judgement or poach patients; my role is only to
help restore confidence in the difficult art and practise of homeopathy.
For homeopaths and student homeopaths:

If you need help with a patient who, despite your
very best efforts, is not getting better you can suggest they come
to me. (See below)

The fact that you are reading this page probably
means that you are having difficulty with your homeopathic treatment
now. It almost certainly means that your homeopath is too, despite
his or her best efforts. Ideally you will feel able to tell your homeopath
that you would like to see me. Perhaps he or she would like to sit
in on the consultation with us or let me know which remedies have
worked well or not. Or perhaps you would prefer them not to be involved
or informed at all - although of course this is the least good option.
It is a very sensitive situation as both of you probably feel vulnerable
at this time.

The consultation will be strictly confidential and
any notes I take will be kept in locked storage for the following
8 years (in accordance with standard Code of Ethics procedures). Depending
on the outcome of the consultation I might ask if I can confer with
or share information with your current homeopath. If you would rather
I did not your wishes will be respected.

I offer a single, or a maximum of three, one-hour
consultations during which I can determine whether a new homeopathic
approach can be successful (with a prescription from me if appropriate)
or whether it would be better to have help from a different therapeutic
discipline altogether. For instance, when I lose faith in remedies
- and yes, it does happen very occasionally - I see a colleague who
can give me kinesiology, acupuncture, herbal treatment or whatever
suits best at the time. I can usually suggest a good alternative to
homeopathy if that seems the best option for now.

As you can see from my Support page I can be very
flexible about location and you can also see that a consultation will
cost £48 (even if it goes a bit over an hour). That charge also
includes any prescribed treatment and a bit of follow-up care by phone
or email.

The aim of the consultation will be to get you better,
and if possible to restore your faith in homeopathy and your homeopath.
